CIVIL ENGINEER, PE
Minimum Experience: PE licensed in the State of Oklahoma with 5+ years professional experience. Civil 3D experience is required. Design skills should include all aspects of civil design with an emphasis on land development projects. Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting resulting in the preparation of quality documents that consistently meet design standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide project management support for engineering projects. Responsible for the preparation of civil engineering plans using traditional design tools and Civil 3D including: creating surface models, roadway alignments, typical sections, plan and profiles, cross-sections, grading, erosion and sediment control, drainage area maps, ADA compliance sidewalks and ramps, storm drainage layout, sanitary sewer system layout, utility layouts, drainage area maps and detail sheets. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-works, clients, outside agencies and vendors. Perform other related duties, as assigned.
DRAFTSMAN/ DESIGNER
Minimum Education & Experience:
Associate degree, completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or related field or equivalent work experience is required, as well as knowledge of CAD and manual drafting principles, practices, methods, and techniques. Applicant must have proficiency in oral and written communication, as they will be expected to work effectively in both individual and team settings. Applicant must be comfortable with using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) This is an in-office position with no remote work required, therefore the applicant must have reliable transportation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Applicant would be responsible for assisting engineers and surveyors in modifying and creating quality CAD plans and exhibits for land development projects and subdivision plats that consistently meet or exceed design standards. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting construction drawings and maps, preparing accurate detailed drawings from survey field data, using standard drafting software packages (Civil3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD, etc.) and developing CAD and manual drawings for engineering projects. Applicant will be expected to maintain complete and organized project files, develop and maintain CAD standards and templates, establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, and perform other related duties as assigned.
