DAN TANNER, PE, PLS
Principal, Professional Practice
Tanner is a 1978 graduate of the University of Oklahoma where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He received his registration as an engineering intern in Oregon and originally became licensed as a Professional Engineer in California in 1983. Now licensed as a professional engineer in 34 states, Tanner is also licensed in Oklahoma as Professional Land Surveyor. Tanner has been a guest speaker for the University Of Tulsa Law School, Lorman Education Services and the National Business Institute. He has taught the site design section of Architectural Registration Seminars sponsored by the Tulsa Chapter of American Institute of Architects.
RON MCGILL, PLS
Director of Land Surveying
McGill attended Dalton State College and was first licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Colorado in 1994. He is currently also licensed in Oklahoma and is responsible for the Tanner surveying department. He has thirty years of experience in a variety of land surveying aspects, including boundary determination, construction, public lands retracement, ALTA/ACSM Title Survey, topographic mapping and legal descriptions.

DEREK MCCALL, PLA, ASLA
Director of Landscape Architecture and Land Planning
Derek is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. His high level of creativity and passion for his profession are apparent on every project. Derek has gained a broad range of valuable experience over 10 years while working on a variety of project types including urban design, hospitality, commercial, transportation, and residential projects from their initial planning stages to construction administration. He has a keen understanding of regional plant material and creative management of stormwater.
JUSTIN MORGAN, PE
Principal, Director of Civil Engineering
Morgan is experienced in all aspects of land development and infrastructure design including geometric roadway design, open channel and enclosed storm sewers, storm water and floodplain management.
He is the lead designer of sanitary sewer and water main systems, as well as retaining wall design. Justin is proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D and is instrumental in integrating surveying and civil engineering services
JENNIFER MILLER
Principal, CFO
Jennifer is responsible for office operations, human resources and banking relationships. She has managed all aspects of Tanner Consulting for more than 10 years and has prior experience with the Indian Nations Council of Governments as well as Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from OSU-Tulsa, 2008.
It is our employees who continue to make Tanner Consulting a great place to work. We believe that while many employees may have a specialty area, we should all understand the basics of every part of the company. This leads to better communication between individuals, a higher quality of work, and happy clients. We understand that we need to continually invest back into our employees by providing educational opportunities through lunch and learns, quarterly meetings, attending industry specific seminars, or supporting individuals in gaining certifications and licenses. We would not be who we are without the continued collaboration between our Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors, Landscape Architects, Planners, and Administrative staff.
